Passport Requirements for Your Cruise

You do not need a passport for this cruise, as it starts and ends at a U.S. port. However, a passport is highly recommended.

To sail without a passport, you must have:

• A government-issued photo ID (such as a REAL ID), and
• An original or certified copy of your birth certificate
   

⚠️ Important: In the event of an emergency or if you miss the ship in a foreign port, you will not be able to fly back to the U.S. without a valid passport.

You do need a passport if:

• Your cruise starts or ends in a foreign country
• You’re visiting destinations that require a passport for entry
• You plan to fly to or from a foreign port to join or leave the cruise
   

For peace of mind and flexibility, we strongly recommend traveling with a valid U.S. passport.

Most cruise lines do not allow guests to bring beer or hard liquor onboard. However, you are typically permitted to bring one 750ml bottle of wine or champagne per adult, as long as it's sealed and carried on at embarkation.

In most cases, you can also pre-order liquor through the cruise line to be delivered to your stateroom at the beginning of your voyage.

Be sure to check your specific cruise line’s alcohol policy, as rules and allowances can vary.

Most shows and onboard activities are included at no extra cost, though a few premium experiences may have a fee.

When it comes to dining, the majority of food options are complimentary, including main dining rooms and buffets. However, some specialty restaurants charge an additional fee.

Room service is available, and select menu items are free, while others may incur a small charge.
